I consider it a great honor to serve Pat Henry students and families as their school principal. Pat Henry is a wonderful place of learning with a dedicated staff and talented students.
Like many Lawton/Fort Sill families, Lawton/Fort Sill is home to our family because my father was stationed here while on active duty. I was born at Fort Sill and attended Pioneer Park Elementary, MacArthur Junior High, and MacArthur High School. I began my teaching career in Richardson, Texas. I spent 7 years teaching third, fourth, and fifth grades in Texas and at Ridgecrest Elementary in Lawton. I was also fortunate to serve as school counselor for Crosby Park Elementary, Whittier Elementary, and Geronimo Road Elementary as well as 2 years as assistant principal at Ridgecrest Elementary and 2 years as principal of Sheridan Road Elementary.
My move to Pat Henry Elementary in 2013 was a tremendous blessing. I quickly fell in love with the staff, students, and families and they have continued to amaze me with their commitment to providing the very best for our students. It is a joy to work alongside all the members of the Pat Henry family as we do our part to prepare career-bound citizens.
My husband, Brad, and I love calling Lawton/Fort Sill home and feel it is a wonderful community to raise our two boys, Carson and Colin.
